A reminder that our sale is still on - it ends tomorrow (Tuesday 5 July) at midnight Mountain Time. Please take advantage of something we don't do very often... :)

For those who have ordered (or are about to), a word on delivery: we use Canada Post pretty exclusively and they have done a great job for us over the last few years. We are monitoring the CP negotiations as closely as we can to try to ensure that our customers still get good service. As of this afternoon, they are still negotiating and neither side has issued a strike / lock-out notification which has to have 72 hours notice.

We usually prioritise orders on when they were placed but today did something a little different - we shipped all the Alberta orders first as they will be delivered within the 72 hour window and we will ship BC and SK orders tomorrow along with any fresh orders for AB and will use other carriers for further afield - as long as they are not too rural. If your shipping address is not serviced by anyone other than CP, we will email you to ask if you want your order shipped now, held, or sent elsewhere. If negotiations complete we will revert to our usual prioritisation by time of order placed and use Canada Post.

I hope that makes sense and if you have an order with us that we haven't yet shipped where you want us to do something different, just let us know, we'll sort something out.

An update on yesterday's note on delivery: Canada Post have now given notice that a lockout may happen as early as Friday, so we shall use Canada Post (today) for any customers who are within a two day shipping window and all other shipments will be shifted over to courier companies until CP negotiations are complete.

The real kicker is all the other delivery companies are now so busy that they have waived all their delivery guarantees (as far as we are aware) - all of which does guarantee that shipments will take longer than they should! Sorry. We'll do our best to get orders out the door as quickly as we can to help speed the process as much as we can. Thanks for your understanding.
