Sometimes my searching lacks every now and then (still a noob lol), so sorry if it's been covered. Hopefully I posted in the right place, if not maybe in the DIY section.

I made a replacement follower out of some delrin on my remington to replace the old original, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with dyeing plastics different colors? Google search showed up Rit Dye and it looks promising, but if anyone has any good/bad experience with products any input is appreciated.

You can dye the white or sand magpuls with rit dye
Or Kool aid haha, always useful, and degrease with the yellow aka lemon Kool aid too

lol never would of thought of kool aid, thanks for the suggestion.

I'll see if I can find some rit dye, just a bit of orange would be good. Their site says to boil it for stubborn plastics.
Thank you all for the input!

Yup, boil it for a few mins and then take it out, you can either shock ice bath it, or let it sit, but the Sand, and FDE will take the dye well, the OD and Black, nope LOL, id love to see your project
