Colt 1878 markings

Who can tell me where all of the s/n markings are found on a colt 1878?

I just picked one up and want to make sure all of the numbers match before the deal is done.

Serial numbers should only appear on the butt with the last few numbers showing up on the loading gate and the back of cylinder. There's a good chance that the loading gate won't match. You've got to post pics when you get it, love to see the barrel address and any British proofs.
