Colt 1911 a1 sight options?

I have an old colt 45 that I am going to shoot IPSC with. The sights are dinky and I would like to change with something bigger and adjustable.


Where and what should I get. Also I am looking for the cheapest solution possible.

If you want adjustable sights, you will need to have a gunsmith cut the dovetail on the rear of your slide. The best adjustable sights are Bomar (same ones as on the Stainless Gold Cup).
