I was looking to add more traditional 1911 to my collection.
All colt 1911 classic are backorderd in Canada.
I was not able to see one in person.

There not a lots of reviews but the one i saw seem promessing.
Anyone on the forum have one or see one?

thank you!

I have a link to a review I've read, I'll pm to you. From what I've gathered they are sort of entry level (in that they share some similarities to the 1991) but they are an S70 style pistol if that matters to you.

I have one that I picked up a couple of years ago. I enjoy the "classic" look of the pistol and it is finished quite nicely. My only reservation is that the sights are rather small which I guess is in keeping with tradition. Otherwise the pistol has been flawless.

Looking for a little feed back. Want to get one but not sure if i want the 1911 or a Beretta What should a entry level shooter get

Which ever you choose, ensure that you can buy a .22 Conversion kit with the gun. I have a Kimber .22 Conversion kit on my .45acp 1911 and since I bought it I have spent 4x times more on the range than when I used it as a .45acp only.

In my opinion the 1911 trigger is better than the beretta. It’s easier for my to get good group my my others 1911 than my 92fs.

I am not a 22 pistol fan. I have tried but after couple of rounds I am bored.
I have a 22 revolver but a rarely bring me at the range.

I saw & handled all the Colt 1911’s at the Colt booth at the 2020 Shot Show in Las Vegas.

Addendum: i think I forgot to add comments on the posted query. So here it is: i liked & was mostly impressed with the 1911’s that Colt was displaying. I particularly liked the reproduction 1911 without the A1 features. Also, I liked their ‘70 series re-introduction 1911’s.
