I run a 1944 vintage Remington-Rand M1911A1 which I shoot on occasion, and the new Inland 1911A1 Gov't which has a S/N under 200. I shoot this all the time, almost dumping 1000rds of 230gr Ball (Federal aluminum case at $14.97/50 at Walmart).
The Inland is a pretty much a GI clone, shy of the Series 80 FP. Paid $680US for the Inland. RRP is $750US
ATI M1911A1 runs local at $399US NIB, and the Auto Ordnance 1911A1 around $500US NIB.
