Colt 1st Gen 1/2 ####

Well I guess You could say half #### or second click. Where it allows free cylinder for loading. As it's trying to go into that click it will sometimes lock up, as in the hammer just can't quite get into that groove. I believe it to be in the cylinder cause the ACP cylinder is fine. It's just a wee bit with the 45LC cylinder, not all the time and if You wiggle it, it will go. I'd like to get it first time every time though

Sounds like the bolt is engaging prematurely, take the cylinder out and #### the gun, if the bolt pops up at or near half #### it needs to be timed. The bolt should pop up just as you get to full #### position.
What year was the Colt made and what model is it???
