I am not up on my AR stuff, I have an AR. But isn't the colt Canada MMR almost the same thing? I personally like the Colt Canada IUR. http://www.nordicmarksman.com/MRR-116.html
Not wanting to start a fight but really what is the difference between the CC MMR and the new 2020 colt PDW? Maybe 1 inch of barrel?

It looks like the Colt USA version uses clamp-on handguards: see the two screws at the bottom.

IUR/MMR receivers are one piece monolithic

Too bad we don't get those colt PDW's I would buy one in a heartbeat!

It is basically just a 10.5" carbine with a sliding stock. In fact, it looks like Colt is using Maxim defence SCW stock.

And the winner of that particular requirement seems to be HK 416.

Rather ballsy of them to put the phrase "Quality makes it a Colt" on a photo of M16s in a Vietnamese rice paddy. At least they managed to find a pic where you can't see a cleaning rod taped to any of the foreends.

Probably because they know the issues with the M16 in Nam were almost exclusively the fault of the US Ordnance Dep. and not their company's...
