Colt .22-.45 conversion unit firing pin?

My firing pin seems to be too short by approximately 3/8". Are there supposed to be 2 pieces to the firing pin? Did I lose a piece when I had it apart? Directions to an exploded view would be appreciated. TIA
 
Muskwa, before you order a new firing pin, make sure that your firing pin is getting hung up on the extractor plunger and firing pin gate. If you took it apart chances are that its just getting hung up, I've had the exact same thing happen to me. Send me a pm and Ill try and help you out in better detail. Im 99% sure you dont need a new pin.
