The .300 Blackout makes sense if this was America and suppressors were legal and the AR platform was non-restricted, but since this is Canada I don't see the appeal? Factory ammo is hard to come by and prohibitively expensive making handloading the only practical option. Even then, associated costs are far greater than for .223/5.56mm. I'm not knocking the caliber, I like it and would definitely have at least one rifle chambered for it if things were different, but I see it as a pretty limited niche caliber. Now if someone wanted to pick one up, just 'cause, no problem! The more power to you. I'm just wondering if I'm missing something by not having jumped on the .300 Blackout bandwagon?
