I have a gutted 455 eley @ home with all the parts (I think) , but can't figure out where they go?

I did a google search for assemble drawing or parts drawing, but had no luck.

Wondered if one of the masses on this forum could help with one. Even a couple of pix from under the grip would go a long way.

I strongly suspect the only book that will point you in the correct direction is Jerry Kuhnhausne's book, The Colt Double Action Revolvers, A Shop Manual, Vol. #1.
This is only the beginning as you would most likely need at least some specialty tools from Brownell's I guess so myself.
I think your handgun model was called the Colt New Service or the Colt Model 1917 also. (WW1 45 ACP version of the same revolver)
Numrich Arms has one disassembled drawing under the 1917 designation.
Just guessing here that you are not refering to a 1873 Colt Single Action Army in 455 Eley.
