Colt Anaconda spotted.

A Colt Anaconda was spotted at Target Sports today. It's on consignment and you must have deep pockets, very deep pockets. It's $2000. plus tax but on the bright side it's in very nice condition.

Yes they are.

Over half a million Pythons were made before Colt pulled the plug. Some of them were the nasty stainless versions. Colt made about 300,000 DiamondBack revolvers in various iterations before they got canned too. Colt tried to supplement the demise of the Python and DiamondBack with the King Cobra, but it never caught on.
Later, they made a bunch of Anaconda's in 44Mag and 45Colt. Anaconda's are the somewhat rare ones, but my money's on the Colt DiamondBack nickel 4" .22 caliber revolvers. They will always command TOP dollar.

For that kind of money or less you can get a Python which has superior finish and action.
