I have a Colt AR-15 Sporter Target Model it has a 20" barrel with markings C MP 5.56 NATO 1 / 7, the diameter of the barrel is 0.725" at muzzle. It's a chrome lined barrel and the 1:7 twist is best suited for heavier bullets. I was wondering the value. It has been basically just been test fired. I have a Picatinny base that mounts on the carrying handle (not selling the Holosight) and also have a 3X20 scope (replica of the original Colt). I have swivel mount attachment.

Yep unfortunately all of the above is true. That is why Epps is sitting on a few and there were some on here earlier.

- large takedown pin
- no bayonet lug
- not a flat top and hard to find a large pin flattop, can convert with offset pins but generally a pain.

However it is an Original Colt and someone may want one for their collection. Post a pic of the markings without serial.

Believe it or not, lack of a bayonet lug will turn off a lot of people.

Ahhaha....couldn't agree with you more ! I was living in the US in the 90s . I had a Colt Sporter H Bar that some guy offered me twice what I paid because mine had the bayonet lug and flash hider ( Post 94 Ban you couldn't have that ) . Since I was a cash strapped student I jumped at that

How I still miss that rifle

Yep, probably $1200 for the rifle, $1400 with the swag. $1000 if you want to move it fast. There's really no value in these rifles because of the lack of small pins and no flat top.
