Hello I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to be able to use the seach function at all. So I was wondering if anybody uses or knows a retailer that carries Colt parts and sells up here. I seriously need the front pivot pin in .312 for the SP. Not to mention a bolt assembly and charge handle. I've found a few places but they won't ship here. egunpart won't send any item more than a hundred dollars north of the border. I don't care if the pin is colt or not, it just has to fit. I guess I could see if HomeHardware has something. It's starting to look like the quest for the Holy Grail. Any info would be great. Brownells carries what you are looking for. You can apply for an International Import Permit (google that) and send it down with your order to Brownells. It will take you some time but it will come.

Well I think Brownells is out of Colt stuff. Every thing i clicked on was the same, like they say in Newfoundland.."there it was, gone". I bought a colt upper and colt lower from two different chaps off our site and now I'm trying to put them back together again. I'll run one of my other bolts in it for a test drive. I'm going to see if I can find a non/other gun part for the front pivot pin which has to be the large hole top and bottom .312 diameter and make it work. Something similar to OEM in design. Then I'll wait for the real McKoy. Anybody out there tried this approach ? Any info or hints on something to start with would be appreciated. Cheers

Try contacting the dealers here. Lots of different companies have sold the large front pivot pin over the years and quite a few have made their own versions, like DPMS, Bushmaster, KNS.

That's what I thought LOL. Plus our dollar has tanked again! Maybe I should just get an LMT bolt assembly?
