Hi Folks,
Just got an old Colt Buntline Scout in .22LR with a 9 1/2" barrell. Does anyone know where I might be able to find some parts for it ? Mostly looking for screws, cylinder take down pin/rod, maybe some grips and a new cylinder. Thanks for any info you may be able to provide.
Thanks, Mike

The screws shouldn't be too hard, you'll need to know the size and thread pitch, then go to a gunsmith and purchase/order said screws. Perhaps just take the screws to your gunsmith.

The first place I would check for the cylinder pin would be Belt Mountain, see if they offer anything. Google them.

Grips should not be hard, depending what you're looking for.

The new cylinder will likely be difficult. It will also need to be fitted to the gun.

Thanks guys, I'll give them a try, after disassembly and cleaning, everything seems to have freed up nicely, probably don't need a cylinder or pin now, just screws and grips.
Would it hurt the value of the gun to have it re-blued ? Near as I can tell it was made in 1974, seems to be in good condition except for a lot of blueing wearing off, bore/barrell is excellent and the gun seems to function flawlessly.
Thanks, Mike
