It been out of stock for so long. I believe the main difference is it was meant for the weaver rail and I don't think it is mark with 40L-C. So, a regular 40L would work.

If you can source it, Colt Canada has a version made for them - the 40L-C. I believe Wolverine has had them listed on their site in the past.

That is correct from my understanding as well - however the one I own does have the -C printed on it as well.
