Colt Canada CQB

Nothing stopping someone in the US putting on a tri-rail? Not really unique to Canada.

Except you can't get a real one, in fact we (Canadians) couldn't get them until a few weeks ago (and there's only one source), and the only replica is Cadex which is close, but no cigar. But yeah, beyond that, no problem.

Too bad we can't get the FNC :(

It's a very cool rifle even though, from what I can recall (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), it failed the trials back in the late 70s catastrophically, which led us to adopt the C7 and C8 families of rifles.

If CC was to make a run of Diemaco "SA10.3" I'd be all over it, that way I can keep my MK18 and have a CC at the same time; best of both world.

I recall plenty of speculation on what was going to be adopted. I also recall that consensus was the FNC would be the superior rifle. I don't recall any talk about catastrophic failures. I expect the reason for us adopting the M-16 A2 was our geographic location.

What I recall clearly was the BIG Smile I had on my face the first time I fired a C-7.

I remember posting a picture of a swedish soldier with a stove piped AK5...in a publicity picture!

See comment why they had G36 and HK53!
