Its worse here, even before the 88 act the only way to get a semi SA80 here was to reimort one that had gone to Canada. After the ban they would allow any even the straight pull cadet versions claiming they had been altered from full autos. Lets face it Govt esp civil serpants are career c*nts!

Did I say you were lying? You're right, I wasn't around then and I'm wasn't trying to piss on your comment. I was simply relating my experience, which is that in the last 14yrs of service I've never seen a serial No. earlier than '86 and until now didn't think that production had been any earlier. If anyone has pics of a serial No. prior to '86 I'd be very interested in seeing it.
