So i had posted a thread a while back wondering if i should purchase a Daniel defense or Colt IUR.

I had somewhat settled on the daniel defense.

But at this price point for the Colt IUR.... it seems like the colt is a no brainer.

Tell me i'm right so i can justify pulling out the Visa......

I paid double a few months ago, would buy another one if I wasn't already financially crippled.

Keep in mind that the IUR is a one trick pony. If you don't like it you're stuck with it. And carbine gas is less than ideal, just saying.

I'll second this, but it is a great price on this batch. Keep in mind you'll need to spend another $250-300 for a BCG and CH and $400+ on a complete lower.
 
I just got my IUR with Diemaco complete lower from Ammo Source which I ordered two weeks ago. If this current deal had been available I would have jumped on it and used the money saved to get a better BCG (mine came with a High Standard which doesn't seem to get much love around here). Would have spent the same amount of money but had a slightly better rifle. Still, no regrets at all.

Gotta love Colt selling these for half what they were charging earlier this year. I won't be buying anymore Diemaco products new. I'll be waiting for the next shorter IUR to hit the EE at a 30%-50% reduction.
It seems that limited 490 IURs are being released only on CGN and weren't as limited as initially thought.
 
Think I'll wait to see what Black Friday sales come up and possibly jump on it at the end of the month, or not. Not sure how committed I am to dusting off the AR next year...
