The Diemaco is nice, and the CHF barrel is keen, but not for that price differential. I'm with you.

I took it to mean more than the trigger group and I know they are available in semi auto.
As far as I'm concerned it could be exactly the same and it's still not worth an extra grand. That plus heavy bbl. on a semi auto carbine is stupid.

I mean you need to consider resale value as well....Colt USA will be a better investment and will maintain or increase in value. Colt Canada you will take a bath on if you ever want to sell it.

Bought a 6920 LE Magpul Black for 998.... That's a lotta difference. In fact... That's a really good optic.

Do the 6920's come with a full auto BCG? The Colt Canada rifles I was looking at had a semi auto carrier, kind of disappointing but not a big deal. Trust me if I had the money I would have bought one, very nice rifles, but I agree in that I don't think they're $1000 better...
Yes the 6920's all come with M16 style BCG's. That's very surprising that the Canadian ones don't. I can't imagine why they would do that – one would think it would be easier to use their normal BCG's which they already manufacture anyways rather than create new ones. As much as I love Colt, sometimes I don't understand them.

No they don't! They have come with both. Just not sure which one was available when.
The majority of them have come with FA BCG but there have been batches of them that has the semi BCGs.
They could have been swapped by a dealer/distributor/importer but I have seen reports from the states as well.
Yes they are over priced.
