Colt Cobra

.38 special Colt Cobra.
Is there a way to do a barrel swap on this gun, so it can be re-registered as restricted, instead of prohib?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It would depend on barrel availability - I'm guessing any suitable Colt 5 inch tube should work, you'd need to call a revolver 'smith to confirm it. Barry Jensen at Bits of Pieces has done a number of prohib to restricted conversions. It's possible an earlier model barrel would work - the later models all had large frames.

Beautiful guns! Remember, it's aluminum framed though, so limit the amount of +P you put through it. I have personally never seen one re-barreled, but that's a heck of a lot better than it hitting the smelter
