Yes, pics please! She sounds pretty schweet!:) I have a 4" Python in "Ultimate Stainless"....like a freakin' piece of jewellery it's so beautiful.

If no pics available, details on the combat rendition please. Just bought a 6 inch Python with OEM nickel plate and wood grips (a glitter gun) at the Calgary gunshow.

"A California distributor special ordered a quantity of 3 in. barreled Pythons, which at the time were not available. Colt probably utilized made-up 8 in. guns and either had them modified or re-barreled, with the distrbutors name part of the barrel marking. These guns are an unusual variant (sometimes referred to as a Combat Python), and are priced similarly to factory 3 in. barrel Pythons."

IMATT, is this your gun?

That looks sharp!!:) I have an early one, 6" barrel, serial # 2086, I believe it was made in the first year of production. Shoots like a dream!!:) I never realized the Python was made or avaliable in the berrel length you have. Have you shot it much, & if so, how is it?

Combat Python

Have been trying to sell in the States but screw up in paper work from people who are trying to import. So I still have it. Thanks.
Have never seen one in Canada, and curious as to any more around.

That is a sweet gun. 3" barrels are quite handy and point very well, similar to a 4". I have a 3" 686 in a satin finish, but have never seen a 3" python.

Too bad its not staying in Canada.
