I have a Colt Sporter Lightweight -- R6530. Many years ago I replaced the original stock marked "CS" with a collapsible stock. I want to return it to its original condition. Any ideas where to look for this stock?

Ooh, good luck. They're pretty rare these days and command a premium. It would be a lot easier to just put a standard A1 or A2 stock on it.

Try the EE and gun shows.

There’s one in the EE, or there was last week. Don’t think the seller knew what a rarity they had. They go for big ish money in the states.

Hmmm -- thanks, BioPace. I went to the Equipment Exchange section. I see from the rules that I have to "earn" my way in to the section -- to be able to see / post in that section -- by making frequent postings / replies, and by doing an intro to this forum. I will try, but I am not sure what I have of merit to say (just ask my wife). But, I will try. On the stock issue, in my computer search I found someone that said some Diemaco stocks had the "CS"

They go for around $200US. I found them at gun shows and they came on my earlier large front take down pin Colt lowers. I had one on a Sporter and a 9mm. I swap them out when I sold the rifles because the guy buying it din't want it.

Is that picture "past tense" or do you still have the stocks? If so, are you looking to sell one? I am not quite sure of the rules of forum (I read them over, but there is a lot to read -- must be a lawyer involved -- not that that is a bad thing) -- but, am I allowed to pose this question here, or do I have to do such in the Equipment Exchange area? If I am to do this in EE, I have not yet been admitted to view or post there.

And, BioPace, do you know if the stock is still listed in the Equipment Exchange section? If it is, I may need to try to take steps to accelerate my acceptance / admittance there.
