Sorry fellas, I just could not resist posting this thread of my first issue COLT; It's an M16A1 with the M203 and quadrant sight!



So for those of you born after February 1978, I was right. I was a Colt Fanboy before you were born! ha ha ha ha I just had to post this pic....

Darn that M203 was accurate out to 500m. I was super impressed when I was hitting the steel silhouette targets at 500m with the practice smoke 40mm grenades! I knew I was meant for a career in marksmanship.

Holy poop That rack number is "31" and I just realize (took me 37 years) that it's part of MY own personal callsign "31C" OMG


Now here is another #### picture of a "small arm".... A Vulcan 20mm AA multi barreled rig....





Yup, I'm with 1 VP back in the OD Green days!

It certainly was a different army back in those days of the 1978 era cold war!

Yeah but that is a colt in his hands. Diemaco c7 didnt come in until 1984.
