Colt IUR

Picking up my New COLT IUR from Al Simmons, they will be in on Friday #1 on the list, oooooooohhhh I'm so excited.
Now what should I use for a Lower ?

Depends, you want a complete Lower or build it yourself?

You can try and source either Colt US or Colt Can unicorns. Just expect the higher prices that go with these...

Or just look for the standards i.e; DD, Aero, Rainier, Vltor, LMT , Spikes etc.

Would love to be able to source a Colt Canada but will settle for a Colt US and I would be ok with building it.
not my first AR or build.

Getting someone to part with their Colt Canada/Diemaco SA20 or SA15.7 lower will probably set you back close to $1,000, maybe $750+ if you find someone in a good mood. I picked up a Colt LE6920 (run-of-the-mill M4 Carbine rollmarks) for $650 of EE. I'm sure there are better deals out there. If you're not fussy about completeness (Need both upper and lower to have "Colt stamped on it), it's probably a safe bet to go with DD or other brand.
