i was wondering if there are any real differences between the Colt m1911 45 acp revolver and the S&W Victory revolver in 45acp?

I believe they are named the Colt 1917 and S&W 1917 and are both built to the same specs as they were built for a Military contract.

Yeah, you must refering to the Colt & S&W Model 1917 revolvers in .45ACP....

The original Colt Model 1911 is a semi-automatic pistol in .45ACP and the S&W "Victory" was a medium frame revolver in .38 Special and .38 S&W.... ;)

NAA.

The S&W Victory model was a WWII K Frame made in either .38 Special or .38 S&W.

If you're talking about the M1917 revolvers, the only thing they really have in common is that they are both double action revolvers in .45 ACP. The S&W is essentially a Second Model Hand Ejector and the Colt is the New Service, both of which were standard production items modified by their respective manufacturers. The two have substantially different lockwork and nothing interchanges, save for the moon clips.

Incidentally, early Colts could not be used at all without moon clips, as the round would slip forward into the chamber. Later ones had a headspace shoulder so that the clips were only needed to facilitate ejection of cases.
