COLT M4 CARBINE 22 cal.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are made by Umarex, and I have also heard that they are not the best piece of kit you can get, (especially for $800). From what I've heard the S&W MP15-22's have better reliability, and you can get them for $550.

Prohib. came down last week.

Siiiiiiigh. Thanks for the update I guess. What the hell man. At risk of thread derail I'll just say I'm going to ponder what recourse the public has against this kind of arbitrary BS. If there is a way, maybe it can be appealed. If there is no way that is reasonable to enact, i'd question how free a land this really is. How can they (RCMP) possibly have the first and last say on everything. What is keeping them in check and making sure they are doing a good job?

Sucks for the SIG , looked like a nice choice. I think we need to merge all Canadian gun Association into ONE BIG one just like the NRA. More $$$, more Lawyers, More Powers, More rights for us. After all these associations all have the same Quest. Why do we need more then one ?

Who as a S&W Mp15-22 ?
Does the upper for a Regular Lower. I dont like plastic that much, the lower seems to be made of plastic. If they fit regular lower without to much mod, $550 is a good price for a complete dedicated Upper.

I found the magazine article that I had read about the Colt. It does lock open but the ping pong paddle is just for show, you have to sling shot the bolt home on a new mag which to me sucks.

Are you looking for a .22LR to shoot gophers?

Ruger SR22 Looks M4ish and is non restricted.
Rem 597 Looks M4ish and is non restriced.

Anything built on the M16 receiver is restriced though.... so dedicated upper or conversion kit your limited to shooting paper at the range. With doing that, I would just stick to .223 . Unless your trying to save money or teach your lil one.

I bought the Colt M4 .22LR and I can tell you that it's a quality build and looks almost identical to my 6920. I compared the MP1522 to the Colt and frankly there is no comparison. The trigger does suck though and there is no removable action or bolt for a detailed cleaning. I'm a Colt collector so I had to have it. The mag is designed for super easy loading...and thank god because this M4 rips through copious amounts of .22LR!!
