Colt M4??

What the f*ck? Are you serious?

Have you never heard of lemons? The concept of a few rare units not meeting quality expectations for one reason or another is totally alien to you?

Wow. And apparently I'm the one being perceived as having cognitive difficulties.

None of your statements prove me wrong. Still screams crap.
Actually I have more proof that its crap then you do of it not being so.

Still no word of it being restricted or not ? I called wild west in edmonton and they told me if its new in the states it wont be in Canada for at least a year and even after that they will be back ordered for 6 months if your are lucky.

One of my distributors in America has hundreds of them in stock, so supply is not an issue right now. For price they could easily be $700-800. However, there is still no FRT. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that they will be granted an export permit from the US. With a collapsible stock and flashhider they might not get the export permits.

Then there are the questions of quality. I think a lot of people are waiting longer to hear how the masses of them are. A couple anecdotal reports isn't entirely convincing either way.

For the reasons above we will not be bringing them in anytime soon. (For the record I never said we had them coming). However, if it turns out that everything becomes favourable I'll look into it again. I suspect the Canadian dealers who have been advertising these guns will have them as soon as the FRT and possible export problems are resolved.

K.O.

1 product doesn't tarnish the quality of a colt.
Well, keep in mind that none of these units come off any Colt LLC assembly line in either Hartford CT or Kitchener On. Other than using their name from a licensing perspective, this thing is about as "Colt" as something made in China.

UMAREX is an airgun manufacturer, and as far as I have been able to research - this is one of very few international firearms endevours. Outside of being the self declared "king" of replica blank firing guns - this next journey into the competitive rimfire market, is likely to be short lived.

From what I've seen so far, this rifle is a huge waste of money, especially when compared to other possible opportunities.
The deal knell for this rifle in Canada will be if/when it's classified as restricted.

Hey! Think of it as a glorious day for the marketing dept.

They could run whole ad campaigns, based on that it will feel exactly like the Airsoft version.

All it needs now is the Airsoft butterball, of motivational poster fame, for the ad copy! :D

Cheers

Prove you wrong?

You're the one generalizing about an entire line of firearms based on one example. Why would I expend any considerable amount of energy on what's ultimately a fruitless endeavor? Your mind is already set on this product being a dud based on very little evidence; you've performed my work for me...

More to the point, however, why are you still visiting this thread if you're already convinced this firearm isn't worth your time and money? Surely our brief exchanges aren't that entertaining/valuable to you? :D

Not going to waste energy, yet your post is 10X longer then mine...
I am generalizing on one example, your generalizing on none...
Don't discuss on a discussion forum...
You're pure genius.

My posts are longer because I make an effort to convey my thoughts with precision. My apologies for being thorough...

And you're wrong about my "generalization": I turn to History and plain old common sense as my only needed tools to demonstrate that you have it completely backwards. Why are you on a "discussion" board if the simplest of concepts fly over your head?

Devrais-je écrire en francais pour que tu comprennes?

And by the way, you're not entirely correct about my lack of example: if I recall, there's a very positive review somewhere within this thread coming from a well reputed firearms review website.

I obviously can't be bothered to find it, mind you... so do have fun and look it up yourself.

You want to be wrong in both official languages?
Fly over my head? Like the knowledge that you haven't posted any proof of quality to match or supersede the posted proof to the contrary?
Yes ofcourse its perfect to you, without fact, without experience, without photo evidence.

Please do what you originally planned and stop posting.
I love how people on the internet refuse to be wrong so bad they get nervous and make 20 post long after they said they where done.

I got a question ! what part of an ar-15 makes it restricted?
I was told its the lower right.

Well if this 22lr has a different lower and cant be swapped with a ar-15 lower, is that grounds for a non-restricted classification?

You can hide behind a screen name, but your logical thinking proves to us all that you sir have absolutely nothing to do with the federal government.
