colt/martin marietta 12.5" upper value?

Hey, i have acquired a 12.5" colt/matrin marietta complete upper, with the fixed carry handle and no forward assist. From my research it looks to date approximately the late '60's. The bore looks very good. no idea as to the round count. It is missing the dustcover and rear peep sight. Any idea as to its worth?

Colt does not make any 12.5" upper - your upper is most likely(or definitely) a bubba job if it is indeed a 12.5".

well, according to biggerhammer.net, it has the CM markings of colt and martin marietta. If it was bubba'd, it was done well.

Gt's right, Colt never made an experimental 12.5'', chop job or bubba barrel swap.

Are you measuring the flash hider in with the barrel and what kind of FH is fitted? Pictures are worth way more than a thousand words.
