Colt National Match Elliason Rear sight.

Friend 's rear sight had it spring tension click adjustment roll pin break.

Managed to fix it using wris####ch band pins cut off as hollow tube, cut to length with Dremel cutting disc and using paperclip through the tube to keep parts from flying off.
Length is shortest one on the right.

I've had that happen a couple of times finally fixed it with a drill bit shank.

I had to use a hollow tube to fit over a small tack like stud that goes in from the bottom of the sight.

There is a spring in the sight body center line from the notch to the elevation screw that pushes the tube into the notches on the elevation screw head.
