Has ramp front sights and adjustable rear sights. 7 1/2" Barrel. Very good condition with stag grips as well as extra set of wooden target grips. Came with highly tooled leather flap holster with Masonic emblem incorporated. Obviously custom made. Nice crisp, tight action. I have had this gun for over 30 years and research I did back then indicated it might be from about 1926. Colt archives indicate records either lost or destroyed. Serial # 60###. Any experts out there that can tell me anything more?

Not an "expurt", but the serial number indicates that your revolver was made circa 1913ish.

Do you have pictures of your New Service? Your description seems to indicate that the sights have been replaced as I wouldn't describe any Colt sight as a "ramp" type.

Original Colt target sights were adjustable for elevation.

The rear sight was either a fixed groove in the frame or a blade adjustable for windage.
