Certainly it's well known the conical bullet weight for the 1851/1861 Colts, approximately 130 grains.

Can't find any reference for Colts smaller 36s, the Pocket Navy and Police cap & ball revolvers.
Can anyone point me to a good reference?
Because I am fairly certain, there were lighter conical bullets for these 5 shot 36s.
Peter Shieffers book on Civil War Revolvers, he tested all 36s with the bigger belt gun conical. No help there.

Brutus:
On the Eras Gone site, I did find a reference to the Colt Cartridge Works, 126 grain conical bullet, as being likely appropriate for the pocket .36's. No info, unfortunately, for ball. Though one source for the '49 Pocket Model in .31 cal. was quoted as using a ball from 51-71 grains. So, the 80-grain ball referenced may not be far off.
Another source did state that bullet molds for the '51 Colt Navy and '62 Pocket Model, were not the same. The conical being lighter and shorter, for the '62..
So, hbean's suggestion may be fairly close, too.
The Old West Bullet Molds site does have molds for a .375"/125 grain heeled bullet. Which may serve for paper cartridge loading. This company can also custom cut molds , as well. May be worth a look.

May be of some use?

ps: You may be familiar with Mark Hubbs, owner of Eras Gone Bullet Molds. Hubbs is well known for recreating period-correct bullet molds. Taken from original molds.
