I have a line on a Colt HBAR SPORTER COMP rifle flat top.

Have not seen too many of these around, what do they normally run for$ ?

1:9 twist full stock, it has a replaced flip site on the gas block, but thats it, also has all the original cleaning rods, not used.

very low round count?

Thanks

Model number is R6700... price would be around $1250-$1400, maybe a little more if it is the CH model which came with an armoured 3-9 tasco scope and cheek rest (maybe add $75 value)

replacing the front gas block with a railed or flip up version actually detracts from the value...

I have a similar rifle. They're great shooters. Tinkerbell's price wll be close, but it might be a hair low considering the relative rarity and the premium people pay for the pony logo.

Someone was looking for one of these in the EE recently. Do you still have the original front sight? Might command a higher price if you do.

no i do not, but its not a cheap flip up,
I was just wondering , it shoots very well. I had it out last weekend in a test run.

I only shot 50 yards and with the 100% wrong ammo but even with that and 55g fmjs it cut the same hole at 50,

cant wait to try 69-75 match bullets with lapua cases and varget at 300 plus

i was surprized with the trigger and stability of the platform

It doesn't matter if the front sight costs $300, the value has been destroyed for a Colt collector. Still, flat top Colts are very rare so someone may want it, they just won't be willing to pay as much as they would had it still been in the original condition.

If its 1:9 twist, you'll prob find that 62-68 gr are going to perform best, 75gr is too heavy I've found and tends to come out 1.5-2 MOA off.
