What you're looking for is a Colt 3-5-7 then. All the pleasure and accuracy of a Python without the guilt of shooting it. Alternatively, a Python in Bright Stainless will also allow you to shoot it all you want and simply polish it up back to new after should it get some little scuffs. You'll have to pay a premium for a Stainless Python though...

Had one 35 years ago, sold when young uns arrived, had another 4 years ago, understand what you're saying, spent days and days and days polishing.... shot it once, didn't want to get it dirty...... sold it. Now if they bring out new ones in a couple years I'm in! I think the recent King Cobra is them getting things 'right' before they redo the Python.

A Python is meant to be shot. If it’s not mint, unfired then shoot the damn thing.

It’s like dating a supermodel. If you don’t shag her, the next guy will.
