Colt Python Revolver, 357 Mag 4.25″ Stainless Barrel - In Stock!

The Python is back! Building on Colt’s Snake Gun legacy, the legendary double-action revolver returns in stainless steel in 4.25” and 6” barrel lengths. The 2020 Python features modern stainless steel alloys and a re-designed rear sight. Thirty percent more steel beneath the rear adjustable target sight gives you a stronger revolver and more robust shooting experience. A recessed target crown, user-interchangeable front sight, and Walnut grip with the iconic Colt medallion make this a gun you’ll want to shoot AND show off. The Python is chambered in .357 Magnum and also accommodates .38 Special cartridges.

Before spending this kind of cash, I suggest you look at the recent video done by hickok45. His stopped working midway through the video...

Are you just going to comment this exact same thing on every Python post you see ?

My guess is yes he is as he likely has a python or pythons he paid 4grand for and was hoping to make a profit. These new ones will cause many with those old pythons to be unhappy.

Yet, quality control issues exist with the new pistols, agenda or not.

They may had a few troubles previously but now my 4.25 and my 6 inch are like swiss watch and they are so nices.

the old ones are not that great, sorry there are many issues with them.

I havent heard of any issues with the old ones. I do know they were hand-assembled/fitted and some internal parts vary from one to the next. But we are talking about the new generation of Pythons.

In any case, these revolvers were never my cup of tea. I may pick one up at some time in the future just for curiousity's sake.

I have had 4 and still have 2, never had an issue or heard of one. I think the timing issue myth is only from extremely abused revolvers that were fed a steady diet of full magnum loads. These are not heavy duty units and if you want to use them like that maybe a Ruger is a better choice.
