who is the gunsmith you guys recommend to do work on the python, or has parts for it?

I can think of no one in Canada, sorry. Cylinder and Slide do good work stateside, and the other two great Python 'smiths I knew have both passed on, sad to say. - dan

Yes it is. You might contact Gunnar at armco (who advertises on this sight). I know he is very busy, but he does good work. I've not seen a Python worked over by him however, still, the mechanics of it aren't that difficult. - dan

Ahh. I have a 6" royal blue..the first handgun I ever bought and will never sell.

Front sight should be fixable by yourself, they're just pinned in if memory serves. I'll have to dig out my 4" and have a look, it's been a while since I've had it out for a walk. - dan
