Yes I have heard of them.
I stumbled across a Colt Anaconda today and it looks really cool. Its a
44 mag.
Was wondering what it is worth?
Are they any good?

Thats like saying "I have a blue Chevy..whats it worth?" . Condition and specifics.. Barrel length(restr or prohib) as there are 3 factory length versions. Factory original with goodies or just the gun? Grips original? They are ridiculously overpriced these days along with any of the other snakes, moreso Pythons.

I know nil about revolvers.
Just said Anaconda on the side.6 inch barrel ,Has been shot,
Stainless, looked in really good shape, No dents, dings or scratches.
Think it comes with a few goodies, some ammo, holster.
Hope this helps, cuz it all I know.

It's a heavy gun. Trigger pull is heavy, typical of Colts, in DA. Good to very good in SA.
If you say the gun looks good, locks up tight etc, offer $1500 and see what happens. Like gdawg says, it could go up to the $2k range. These guns aren't made anymore.
The .44 is an expensive beast to feed!! Just a warning!
