Colt SAA owners, how do you like these revolvers?

I wonder is the grip longer on that S&W than a schofield Win 3855 ?
cause i can #### and shoot then recock my Schofields without altering my grip.
I know you had a Schofield.

I can't remember what the Schofield was like to #### on a follow up shot, but I think the grip is curved different on the Schofield. Here's a photo of the Scofield and of the 2nd Model American to compare. You can see that the Schofield has a steady radius pretty much, but the 2nd Model has a different curve to the grip. You can still #### the 2nd on a follow up shot without shifting your grip, but only when the gun is back in full recoil. If you thumb misses at that point, then you have to shift your grip ....
