Colt Series 80

I believe the primary difference is in the safety lock in the slide (for the firing pin). I don't recall any changes in the frame. - dan
Series 70 and 80
The frame on the series 80 is modified, as well as the slide, and therefore not the same as the series 70. Check this for some good info:
