Colt Single Action Army

I've know someone with a bunch on Colt Single Action Army s for sale. I was thinking about buying a few as an investment...

anyone know what the market is like on these?

I don't see to many on the EE.

Never buy for an investment, especially in Canada. Buy because you love them and will shoot them and.......

The older ones may be a good investment (pre 1900) and may go up in price, newer ones would hold their value but may not increase in value much over time.
I saw a new SAA chambered in .357mag/38Spl at a dealers going for $1700..if it had been chambered in .45Colt I probably would have bought it.

The ones I was looking at are all older than 1980. unfired condition. most are in .45colt
