Hello the forum.
This is my first post and I am going to jump right in with my first of many questions.
Before my 1978 Colt Trooper Mk. III (.357) came to be mine, the previous owner had the barrel cut down to 4.25 inches. With this change went the original front sight!!
In it's place is a blade-type sight pinned into a slot in the top of the barrel.
To make a long story short, I would like to return the front sight to as near it's original design as possible.
Is there someone out there who specializes in this sort of work?
I would appreciate any and all suggestions and advice.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
C79
