Hey red star,

How many USMC marked slides you reckon made it into Canada? Colt wasn't producing these for too long before the military ceased the 'USMC' marking from public distribution? Beautiful pistol by the way.

I don't know the exact number up here, guess around 15-20. Total production with the USMC roll mark is around 2000 units. Colt made 80 per month for 25-26 months (the USMC roll mark was discontinued in April 2014 and replaced with the M45A1 roll mark).

I have seen 3 ~ 4 of this USMC roll-marked slides at the EE during that time. Plus that fact that Harry said CCS only makes 80 per month, that is a very few number and even a very small % of that would end up here. I'd say max of 20 too. But I think mine is the first one to come up here as when CCS started shipping them out to dealers last Feb 2013, I snagged one at an online retailer down there and have it imported here.
