I am definitely tempted at the SS competition you are selling, especially at that price, great value. But I would love the new Trophy
 
By my observations you'll need a government type recoil spring guide rod in order to use a single spring. The guide rod on the competition is more narrow in order to accommodate the second spring.

I keep meaning to order one myself.

Arms East - ever consider bringing in VZ grips? They OEM the Colt Competition ones. I'll have to buy a set some day, since I hate the looks of the thumb scallop that come on these
