So I was doing a bit of an inventory on my ammo and came across a box of Combat Master Remanufactured 9mm 124gr FMJ ammo that I had purchased a while back. I have purchased and used it before but never really read the sticker on the side of the box that says the following:
'This ammunition should be only used in Modern Firearms in good condition, with supported chambers, and Steel Frames, not alloys. Combat Masters warrants the exercise or reasonable care in the manufacture of these cartridges, but makes no other warranty, expressed or implied. QUALITY Re-manufactured Ammunition'
I currently running a Sig P226 and my understanding is that these pistols have alloy frames. I curious as to why they suggest not using these cartridges in non-steel frames. I would think most alloy frame pistols can handle +P loads so why would they suggest you don't use them?
