What’s the point of a converted magazine feed run of the mill 22lr when dedicated single shot rifles exist from better brands.
This will be another of their many commercial failures.

As the expression goes "Stay in your lane"! I cannot think of a more appropriate comment. The only thing I see as a positive in this whole campaign is that the trigger can be utilized in the 457 models that are "winning medals" ( in completely different disciplines ).
The suggestion that you can expect 15mm groups ( ctc ?? ) will make it a non starter for any serious International competitor. Another example of a manufacturer having little to no understanding of the market.
( Ford didn't convert their popular sedan to beat Ferrari )

No more CZ firearms for me until they come out with a blanket statement apologizing for Colt Canada/CZ Group of companies, being part of the firearm confiscation scheme of the current Liberal government

There's a video that promotes and describes the new CZ 457 Target. (See below.)
The barrel is, according to the video, a varmint profile 26" cold hammer forged barrel. This is the kind of barrel found on CZ rimfires, but many top level rifles may have button rifling.
The trigger is a two stage Flyweight adjustable from 90 to 200 grams (3.2 - 7 ounces).
The video says there's a "guarantee" of 17.5mm outside-to-outside ten shot groups with match ammo at 50 meters (.87 MOA). Of course not all ammo will shoot this well and some may do better. The price of this rifle will be such that it won't be competitive at the highest levels. In other words it's not meant for World Cup ISSF podiums or the Olympics. It will serve many getting into the sport well.

That makes sense to me, that this is an "entry" level rifle for folks getting into a really expensive game. Kind of like you can compete no problem with a 457 LRP in PRS match, but once you move to a certain level it is all aftermarket barrels, chassis, or just moving to a custom rifle.
I have had NO "Ejection/Extraction" problems with my VMTR, after ca 3K rounds. However, I Do NOT use cra*p ammo so that may be a factor. I see persons complaining when using $5/box ammo but rarely with $15+ ammo.
As for the 'projected price', on RFC there was a member there with this - ". . . One of my vendors has them listed on their website. Out of stock of course, but msrp is $3599 (USD). Street price could be a little less. I'm sure some one step online places will sell them for $3300 give or take a c note. " So, not unreasonable considering the 'goodies' included on the chassis. A ballpark of ca $4600-ish msrp is still under most comparable 'factory' top-end chassis-mounted rifles.
And the "Guarantee" of accuracy is, as G said, 'outside to outside' group of 10'". That is about 0.46", way under MOA of ca 0.524". That has to be with 'Match ammo' which runs ca $30/box, which is outside my 'comfort zone' anyway. As is the $4-5K CDN. Not in My Future since I'm not at 'competition level' anyway.

I guess it all depends on what the actual Canadian cost will be on this rifle. Personally if I was buying a precision rimfire it would be an Anschutz. If its priced between 4-5k Can. thats not far off the price of a comparable Anschutz. Also I could be wrong but I thought forend palm rests were no longer allowed in position shooting in favour of forend riser blocks.
You are correct Sir! I was on Nordic Marksmen site and yes they do have them available again. They had discontinued them for a while, I have one of the older versions. The new one looks very similar to the one shown on the CZ rifle.
