commander sized 9mm

i was wondering if anyone knows of a commander 1911 in 9mm. i've looked at differant web sites and i am having a heck of a time finding one.

STI ranger II in 9mm.

A little bit under 4.25" of the true commander but affordable and available.

For an extra $200USD they will make you a 9mm.

It's too bad more 1911 makers aren't trying to do 9mm Commanders. I think they would sell like hot cakes, or hot guns anyway.

Yeah mine. Bought off the EE. Came with 6 mags total. Two Colt, four aftermarket [Mec-Gar]. She's a 'keeper' so not for sale at any price.

My point though was they do come up on the EE. While occasionally I have scored off the EE I also have also probably missed out more [usually by minutes] on lots of greal deals, too.
 
And hopfully I don't have to shell out for something sparkly for Mrs. PDG (and end up broke)when it does ***Bangs head***

I do have a 5inch Colt Gov. Model in 9mm to ease the pain a little. She sleeps with her big sister (.45) at night. Such a lovely matching pair...
