Hi all;

I am looking for some help finding some cast bullets locally for a Lee Enfield (.313-.314 round nose 200 grain) as well as for 45-70 (.459 flat nose 400-450 grain) for a Newer Marlin 1895.
Specifically non jacketed lead or lead alloy.

I have used DRG bullets for 9mm (125gr RN) in that past and have been very happy with their performance, but my local reloading supplier states they only carries pistol calibers for DRG. I called a few other places around the area but all state the same.
I can t find any website or other information for DRG to see if they make rifle bullets.

I realise that casting my own would be a good option, but right now thats not an option for me.

I contacted Bullet Barn in BC which seem to have a great selection but the cost of shipping brings the price up substantially. (by $16/box which would add about $80 to an order of 1000 rounds)

To save on this (I realise its a heavy package that costs a lot to ship) I would like to be able to pick them up in person in the Niagara-Hamilton-KW-Toronto Area.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & have a great day

thats too bad, I just made a special order from them and they were great to deal with.

that being said I am in BC so shipping isn't breaking the bank.

Good luck in your search. I am sure there must be some source for what you are looking for in Ontario. Lots of shooters/suppliers there.

Not so many options for cast.

Bullet Barn is expensive anyways.

There is someone here on CGN who casts bullets and I am sure could help you out. PM me and I'll tell you who.

There is a local guy here in St. Catharines as well but I am certain at this point they are just doing pistol calibres.

Cheers

+2 for R&R.
I get my Snider, Martini & 303 bullets from him. Every few months he does a trip down into the Golden Horseshoe & drops off orders. If you want to contact him, PM me & I will give you his email.

+ 1 for R&R.

They used to be around my neck of the woods, and I used to buy off them before he moved.

Great guy, and absolutely some of the best quality I have seen in a garage operation.
