Commission Rifle + M95s

Danzig, Steyr, Amberg, Loewe, Erfurt, Spandau, Haenel... I think that's it. Those are very interesting rifles. Kinda attempt to jump off the Mauser wagon. I hope I'll find the time to load some ammo for them and shoot 'em finally.

The Commission rifle was very unpopular in Germany when it was in use. Owing to anti-Semitism it was called the "Judenflinte" or Jew rifle mainly due to the fact that Ludwig Loewe was Jewish. Even though only around 25% of 1888 production was by Loewe. I had an 1895 Loewe Chilean mauser and the workmanship was absolutely amazing in that rifle. After 1896 Loewe and several other firms were all amalgamated to become DWM. Original 1888 rifles(not modified by the Turks) seem to be pretty scarce.

Does anybody own non-Turked one in Canada? All I see around are Turked ones. And I'm looking for original one. I do have non-Turked Kar88, but that's another story...
