Common Acronyms

So i've come across some acronyms i am not familiar with and felt it might be worthwhile to make a thread about them. Lets list off the ones we know and ask about ones we don't.

the ones i came across today:

FTE - Failure To Extract
FFS - ?
 
not sure about that, the context of which it was used suggested it was a term specific to firearms, not a general internet used acronym.

"I've put x number of rounds through it, no FTE or FFS."
 
I recomend you look at a list online, but here are some quick ones you need to know.

FTF - Fail to Feed, also Fail to Fire depending on context
PSP - Pointed Soft Point (bullets)
LRN - Lead Round Nose
FMJ - Full Metal Jacket (A copper coating around the bullet, except at the base, also known as Ball ammo)
TMJ - Total Metal Jacket, when the copper coating surrounds the Entire Bullet.
BBL - Gun Barrel, don't know what this actually stands for.
FUDD - As in Elmer Fudd. Used to refer to people that believe Hunting guns are the only guns we should be allowed to have.
SHTF - #### Hits the Fan, Insert apocalypse/disaster here.
WROL - Without Rule of Law, (No cops, no government, fend for yourself)
BOB - Bug out Bag (The bag you take with you to Run away, also a "Go Bag")
GHB - Not Gamma-Hydroxybutyric acid. In our context its a Get Home Bag. Everything you need to get home from wherever you are.
 
with out getting in to the Survivalist section....these are also common

TMJ can also mean truncated metal jacket
FMJ - full metal jacket
HP - hollow point
SP - spire point

LEO - Law enforcement officer

EMT - electronic money transfer
FFS - for f***'s sakes
WTF - what the f***
AE - american eagle
CQB - close quarters battle
MBR - main battle rifle
LEO - law enforcement officer

thanks for all the responses. I'm going to reasonably assume that everyone here is already familiar with the basic internet ones such as IMHO or STFU, so lets just stick to the ones more likely to be relevant when talking about guns. BBL thanks for pointing that one out that had me confused on the EE pages for a while.

heh, my BOB only requires to last me the 30 minutes or so it'll take me to get from home to work XD depending on traffic conditions.

MOA - Minute Of Angle - can someone actually define this for me? the articles and guides i've found are a bit wordy and confusing. what is one MOA as opposed to say 3?
