Bought a couple of extended chokes for my Browning Citori 625 from Comp-N-Choke in Atlanta . Tried them on sporting clays tonight and I think this spreader choke with negative restriction(bigger than cylinder bore) is great for those really close fast birds. Actually I shot some out to at least 30 yards with it. The chokes seem to be very well made and the folks at Comp-N-Choke were great to deal with. I wondered why my purchase didn't show up on my credit card so I called them and they had written the number down wrong, but had sent the chokes anyway! This was my first time dealing with them. If you're in the market give them a call, they have a good website.

I have had very good dealings with Comp-n-choke, service has been good, and I quite like their products. I too have negatives for my 12ga 682, and my 20ga Zoli, in both I have surprised myself with the range of targets hit with them. While I know there was a certain level of dumb luck involved, I have used a negative to break a 65 yard midi (2/5 times anyways...).

Do other manufactures make these negative chokes or just Comp-N-Choke? Their chokes look great too,I got the stainless steel ones.
